June Whitfield to Present Photo Prizes
Wimbledon’s star of stage, screen and TV, June Whitfield, is to present the prizes for Volunteer Centre Merton’s photography competition, ‘Merton Volunteers in Action’. on Saturday 14th January 2012 at Midday. June will present the amazing first prize, the Sony NEX-C3KB digital camera, 2nd: Canon SELPHY ES40 Printer and 3rd: Motorola MF700 7” Digital Photo Frame at an awards ceremony at Centre Court Shopping Centre.
The competition, organised by Volunteer Centre Merton to promote Merton’s unsung volunteers, is supported by Centre Court Shopping Centre, Sony Centre in Centre Court, London Borough of Merton and the Wimbledon Guardian. Sony and Centre Court have generously sponsored the prizes.

Tracey’s winter wardrobe winning boost!
Wimbledon shopper Tracey Keenan has a stylish new outlook thanks to our Win a Winter Wardrobe competition. Tracey won a sassy £500 to spend at Centre Court. She says: “It feels like Christmas has come early, I hope I can resist the temptation NOT to spend it all on shoes…!”
Tracey picked vouchers from Jones Bootmaker, Debenhams, Boots and Monsoon to make up her prize by choosing from the fabulous autumn/winter fashions on offer. Tracey added: “I love to shop at Centre Court as there’s a great selection of stores. Thank you so much for my prize.”
Another successful Fashion Show at Centre Court…
Our fashion show is always a massive hit with customers and this year the event was bigger and better than ever. We showcased some amazing fashions and trends for autumn winter, 2011-2012 and dazzled with items all available under our roof. Catwalk Star Competition Winner
Caroline, 31, from Stoneleigh, strutted her stuff as part of the Centre’s Autumn/Winter fashion event.
Caroline said “I enjoyed my makeover and getting dressed up. I was quite nervous to start with but got into it and found my confidence. Thanks to everyone at Centre Court for making me feel so special.”
